Tongue & Groove coffee table

The Tongue & Groove coffee table was designed to match the Split Stool below, it's made from Ply, Ironbark and Spotted Gum. The finish is a natural Danish Oil, with sanding sealer applied first to fill the very open grain of the Iron Bark. Although it looks relatively simple, it was actually quite complex to make.

Pack Away Stool/Table

This is a little prototype folding stool/table I've been working on. It'll be a little neater and better finished once I've got some more time to work on it.

Split Stool

Here's a piece I've recently completed. It's a small, round stool called the Split Stool made from laminated ply, Ironbark and Spotted Gum. These two varieties of timber are extremely hard and durable with beautiful grain. As is often the case with Australian Hardwoods, the more appealing grain is much harder to work and requires scraping and sanding rather than planing so takes hours and hours of work. I'm also in the process of making a matching table that I'll post up soon.
